DJ Gene has been a professional emcee since 1991 and actively involved in the music business since he was 15 years old.    

DJ Gene holds an Associate of Science degree in Business, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, and a Masters of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia.
